Late Work Policy

Assignments that count as tests & quizzes will be deducted 10 points if they are turned in late.

Assignments that are over 1 week late will be deducted 10 additional points for every week they are late.

In the event of an absence, students will have the same amount
of days to make up assignments as they were out.
(Ex. absent 2 days, can turn assignment in up to 2 days late
with no points deductions.) Please discuss any special circumstances with Mrs. Cream.

A "Late Assignment Grade Request" form must be filled out
when any assignment is turned in late for any reason.
 (NO EXCEPTIONS!)

Please Note: In the yearbook course, we are obligated to meet deadlines from our printing company at Jostens.  Failure to do so, results in financial penalties and could delay shipping of the book.  If a student is falling behind on a spread, it is expected that they make every possible effort to meet their deadline. Students should utilize advisory periods, work independently at home, ask for support or assistance from their editors and peers, and ALWAYS communicate with Mrs. Cream or Miss Benedetto.  When a student does not meet a deadline, the work falls on the shoulders of other students, so it is of the utmost importance that students reach out any time they are struggling.
